Club Activities
COACHING - is available for all ages and standards by LTA certificated full-time coaches. Refer to the club’s main notice board or contact Tom Luke for more details.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES - a variety of Social Events and Functions are held in the clubhouse. A number of fun tennis tournaments are also held during the year, in addition to the annual club championship.
REFRESHMENT & RECREATION – Food and drink in comfortable and pleasant surroundings. Table Tennis, Pool and Short Tennis is available in the spacious recreation room.
VISITORS -Visitors to the club are always welcome. Members may introduce up to two tennis-playing visitors at any one time. Visitor fees (only £5) must be paid before play commences
Typical Summertime Weekly Activities
Monday, from 6:15 pm: Senior Mens' League Match night
Tuesday, from 6:15 pm: Senior Mixed League Match night
Wednesday, from 6:15 pm: Womens' League Match night (3 courts max)
Wednesday, from 6 pm to 8 pm: Social Tennis (2 courts)
Thursday, 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm: Tennis coaching for "Rusty Racquets" (Adult improvers/returners)
Friday, 5 pm to 6:30 pm: Mini Tennis
Friday 6 pm to 8 pm: Junior Team Matchplay
Friday, 8 pm to 9 pm: Tennis coaching for "Rusty Racquets" (Adult improvers/returners)
Saturday 9:30 am to 1 pm: Junior Team Matchplay
Saturday 2 pm onwards: Social Tennis (all courts)
Sunday 2 pm onwards: Social Tennis (all courts)
